RICK Returns for two more nights

at the METROPOLITAN ROOM in a revue of his songs

“ TONIGHT, NEW YORK CITY ”

Wednesday, October 24th & Wednesday, November 7th at 7PM

The show is inspired by Rick’s recent song of the same title, and looks back on his 27 years as a working musician in Manhattan.   Joining him will be vocalists Tanya Holt, Justin Ritchie and this year’s Metro star winner, Marissa Mulder.  The show is directed by Lina Koutrakos.

The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd Street, New York, New York.

There is a $20.00 music charge and a two-drink minimum.  For reservations, call 212-206-0440.

3′s A Charm Live at the Roxbury

I found myself immersed in the heart of the Catskills at the Roxbury Arts Center this past Saturday, Sept. 25th, night making music with two of my favorite artists –  Broadway’s Miss Sally Mayes, and rock and cabaret’s piston Lina Koutrakos.

The show, “3′s A Charm” was produced by our old pal, Maggie Cullen from the famed days of the legendary club 88s in Manhattan.

I provided musical direction for Lina and Sally and also performed some original songs, including a new one – “Go Ahead and Dream” – from the soon to be released movie “That’s what I Am” staring Ed Harris and Amy Madigan. my performance of Go Ahead and Dream is the one that became featured in the movie.

It was an exploration of every aspect of my life – finding new beauty in the familiar and new value in my own history… For the Spring Harvest CD artwork I searched my apartment, New York, and the surrounding areas I knew so well to find images to represent my life in the big city and found wonder everywhere. These are some of them.

The photos and scans were taken by Clinton Bradley and myself.

I was born and grew up in Wabasso, Minnesota. Yes, that’s my mom and dad on the happiest day of their lives.
